Pre-Exercise Screening
1. ASSESS YOUR MOBILITY
The KLT Pre-Exercise Screening is a comprehensive musculoskeletal (muscle and joint) assessment process which evaluates your functional movement capacity. The screening process explores your overall “readiness for exercise” and specifically examines joint and muscle mobility throughout your entire body.
The testing protocols are delivered utilising a proven systematic approach which analyses key components of natural human movements. Pre-exercise screening allows you to quickly recognise regions of stiffness or restriction that may be effecting your ability to get the most out of your exercise programs. The screening tests are specifically relevant for assessing your suitability for commencing, or progressing, a functional strength and stability training program (such as Kinetic Link Training).
2. INTERPRET THE FINDINGS
The interpretation of the screening findings will be extremely useful for identifying any limitations in your freedom of motion, and for recognising common musculoskeletal imbalances which may be contributing to movement dysfunctions. Be aware that movement dysfunctions that are allowed to persist commonly lead to poor movement capacity, injury and/ or reduced physical performance.
3. LEARN HOW TO TAKE ACTION TO IMPROVE YOUR MOBILITY
On completion of the KLT Pre-Exercise Screening you will have a very clear (and measurable) understanding of your movement restrictions. You will be taught appropriate (highly effective) release techniques (using trigger point release balls and foam rollers) and stretches to improve your mobility. With time you will soon enjoy the ease of motion that comes with a body that moves freely in three dimensions.
Pre-Exercise Screening can be applied to individuals of all levels of athletic and functional ability but this screening is particularly relevant to those who are intending to utilise strength training / resistance training as part of their regular exercise routine.

Extended Consultation ( 50 - 60 minutes ) $270 per session
